Stem 2 LED Indicator Guide
What every color and pattern on Stem 2 means — Wi-Fi, battery, pairing, and updates.

Stem 2 communicates its status with its lights. Here is how to read them at a glance.
Status colors
- White — connected to Wi-Fi.
- Pulsing white — syncing.
- Off — no Wi-Fi.
- Red — low battery.
- Orange — medium battery.
- Green — full battery.
- Pulsing blue — Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Flashing purple — updating. Do not power off while this is showing.
During use
- The center LED pulses on first power-on to show pairing mode, and stops when connected.
- When you hold the STEM button to split a song, a circular animation plays — green for downloading, red for failed.
- In local playback, the center and four outer LEDs represent the stems: vocals, drums, bass, and melody.
